Privacy First: StuffLog is designed with your privacy as the top priority. We don't collect, share, or sell your personal data.
Information We Don't Collect
StuffLog does not collect any of the following:
- Personal information or identity data
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Location data beyond what you manually enter
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Contacts, photos, or other device data (except what you explicitly add to the app)
- Third-party tracking or advertising data
How Your Data is Stored
Local Storage
All your StuffLog data is stored locally on your device, including:
- Item information and descriptions
- Photos you add to items and logs
- Log entries and maintenance records
- Collections and organization data
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you choose to enable iCloud sync:
- Your data is securely synced to your personal iCloud account
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Only you have access to your data through your Apple ID
- We never have access to your iCloud data
- You can disable sync at any time in the app settings
Permissions
StuffLog may request the following permissions:
- Camera: To take photos of your items (optional)
- Photo Library: To select existing photos (optional)
- iCloud: For data synchronization across your devices (optional)
All permissions are optional and the app will function without them, though some features may be limited.
Third-Party Services
StuffLog does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app operates entirely within Apple's ecosystem using only:
- iOS native frameworks
- Apple's CloudKit for optional iCloud sync
Data Security
We implement security measures including:
- Local data encryption on your device
- Secure iCloud synchronization using Apple's encryption standards
- No data transmission to external servers
- No account creation or login required
Children's Privacy
StuffLog does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app can be safely used by users of all ages.

Your Rights
Since all your data is stored locally on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account:
- You have complete control over your data
- You can delete all data by deleting the app
- You can disable iCloud sync at any time
